“The Human Fish” aka an Olm

I just read an article on Wired about a creepy “human” looking fish called an Olm. It’s nicknamed the “the human fish” because it lacks pigmentation in its skin so it appears to have a flesh skin. See the picture below:

The Olm (or Proteus) is a strange looking foot-long salamander that is blind and lives in dark caves in Southern Europe. According to the Wired article they have unnaturally long lifespans, an average of 69 years. Crazy!
