So how do you change / intervene?
- Get rid of all sugared liquids – only water and milk
- Eat your carbs with fiber (you probably can’t find more than 1g of fiber on any fastfood item) – fiber is good
- Wait 20 minutes for second portions
- Buy your screen time minute-for-minute with physical activity – TV related
Bottom line: Fructose is a poison like ethanol. Metabolized like a fat. Naturally it is found with lots of fiber. Glucose is ok. Sucrose and High Fructose Corn Syrup is bad.
