Why Sugar is Poison and Intervention

So how do you change / intervene? 

  1. Get rid of all sugared liquids – only water and milk
  2. Eat your carbs with fiber (you probably can’t find more than 1g of fiber on any fastfood item) – fiber is good
  3. Wait 20 minutes for second portions
  4. Buy your screen time minute-for-minute with physical activity – TV related

Bottom line: Fructose is a poison like ethanol. Metabolized like a fat. Naturally it is found with lots of fiber. Glucose is ok. Sucrose and High Fructose Corn Syrup is bad.
